Group 1: Independ. Rivadavia and Fluminense advance
Independ. Rivadavia topped the group unbeaten (16 points from 6 games) in their first-ever Libertadores group stage, ahead of 2023 champions Fluminense on 8. Bolívar and Deportivo La Guaira were eliminated.
Group 2: Universidad Católica and Cruzeiro advance
Universidad Católica finished top with 13 points, just ahead of Cruzeiro on 11. Boca Juniors were eliminated in third place, and Barcelona SC finished last.
Group 3: LDU de Quito edge out Mirassol on goals scored
The tightest group of the stage: LDU de Quito and Mirassol both finished on 12 points with an identical +3 goal difference, splitting their two head-to-head meetings. LDU took first place by a single goal scored (8 to 7). Lanús and Always Ready were eliminated.
Group 4: Coquimbo Unido and Deportes Tolima advance
Coquimbo Unido, in their Libertadores group-stage debut, topped the group with 10 points ahead of Deportes Tolima on 8. Club Nacional missed out on goal difference despite matching Tolima on points, and Universitario finished last.
Group 5: Flamengo cruise, Estudiantes de La Plata join them
Flamengo were the standout team of the entire group stage, winning 5 of 6 games for 16 points and a +12 goal difference. Estudiantes de La Plata took second on 9 points. Independiente Medellín and Cusco were eliminated.
Group 6: Cerro Porteño top Palmeiras
Cerro Porteño finished first with 13 points, one ahead of Palmeiras on 11. Sporting Cristal and Junior de Barranquilla were eliminated.
Group 7: Rosario Central and Independiente del Valle both hit 13 points
Rosario Central and Independiente del Valle finished level on 13 points; Rosario Central took first place on goal difference (+8 to +5). Libertad and UCV were eliminated, with Libertad finishing without a single point from 6 games.
Group 8: Corinthians and Platense advance
Corinthians finished top with 11 points, one ahead of Platense on 10. Independiente Santa Fe were eliminated in third, and Peñarol finished last on 3 points.

These 16 qualifiers went on to the Round of 16, where three ties needed penalty shootouts to separate them, before Fluminense, Palmeiras, Estudiantes de La Plata and Flamengo reached the semifinals.
