Founded 1950·Group-stage debut (2026)

Born in 1950 out of a student club at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, UCV went through decades of instability until an institutional overhaul starting in 2020 brought them back to Venezuela's top flight. In 2025 they achieved the biggest milestone of their recent history: winning the domestic title and the Copa Venezuela, qualifying for the Libertadores group stage for the first time.
