Santa Fe were the first-ever champions of Colombian professional football (1948) and are the only Colombian club to win the Copa Sudamericana, in 2015 (beating Huracán on penalties). In the Libertadores their best result was the 2013 semifinal, against Paraguay's Olimpia.
