Ibagué's "Vinotinto y Oro" played their best continental campaign in 1982, reaching the semifinals after a group with Atlético Nacional, Estudiantes de Mérida and Deportivo Táchira. Domestically they've won two Colombian titles, in 2003-II and 2018-I.
