Argentinos Juniors

Argentina

Founded 1904·Champions (1985)

Argentinos Juniors won their only Copa Libertadores title in 1985 against América de Cali, in a series that needed a third, decisive match in Asunción after a 1-1 split (Argentinos won the first leg, América the second) — Argentinos won 5-4 on penalties. The club, from Buenos Aires' La Paternal neighborhood, is also the academy that developed Diego Maradona. Founded in 1904, they did not qualify for the 2026 edition.
